Rape in the Congo has been labeled "the new weapon of war". It is an epidemic and its victims are ostracized and kicked out of their homes. Answering The Call wants to make a difference and The Julie Project is our vision. Julie is a beautiful little girl from Congo who survived an attack at 4 years old and was left for dead. Her story is the hope for the women there.

To raise awareness, Answering The Call is having a benefit concert featuring Matt Blair from Wilmington, NC and Ron Swann from Roanoke. Julie will be there with the Congolese pastor overseeing its construction.
