YIDA
We first attempted to enter the Nuba Mountains in 2014, but were shopped short of Sudan’s border at a place called Yida. At the time, Yida was populated by approximately 10,000 Nuban refugees.
We built relationships with the refugees there, and returned to facilitate mobile clinics and offer training for pastors in the camp. We were overjoyed at the ministry we had found in Yida, but we yearned to reach those trapped beyond the Sudanese border, so we prayed for an opportunity to reach the un-reached.

for Kids in Darfur
In a very northern, remote part of South Sudan, near Darfur, we are working with a community to build school buildings for the children there. This school will provide shelter and safety to over 600 kids who currently meet for school under nearby trees and a one room church. These options currently do not provide adequate shelter during the rainy season, so the community has come together and pulled their resources to make over 60,000 bricks by hand to start building school buildings for the children. We are astounded by the buy-in from the community to do the work themselves and provide this start to the building project.
Beyond the bricks, they will still need about $15,000 worth of supplies for other building materials to finish the project. Please be praying for the funding of this project. These children walk miles to come to this school and it is their main source of support and exposure to the Gospel. We are amazed by the faith and work ethic of the community and are excited to come alongside them to help make this happen.
