A Place to Gather in the Midst of War

 

On the front lines of the war in Ukraine, our brothers and sisters continue to endure unimaginable hardship. Air raid sirens, displacement, uncertainty, and loss have become part of daily life. Yet even in the midst of devastation, the Church remains a source of hope, strength, and refuge.

 

Today, one community is doing everything it can to stay united.

 

Currently, their only option is to gather in a local village administrative building.

 

Because it serves as a government office, they must meet at limited and inconsistent times. Many people are unable to come. The building has no heating, making winter gatherings extremely difficult, sometimes impossible. Despite this, people still come, hungry for prayer, community, and encouragement.

 

They need a permanent home.

 

They have identified a building that can become a dedicated place of prayer, fellowship, and support for the community. A place where people can gather freely. A place that is warm. A place to hold onto hope together.

 

The cost of this project is $10,000.

 

$6,000 – Purchase of the building

$4,000 – Critical renovations including internal heating system, water supply system, and basic interior repairs and improvements.
